The Raunch Dilettante thinks Asterion was steamy

Amanda at Raunch Dilettante had this to say about SWTWC V2
"This is a collection of six short stores by Ellora’s Cave erotica authors.  It’s safe to say these all rate a solid 4/5 when it comes to raunchiness. There’s little in the way of kink, but it’s pretty steamy."

Asterion by Katalina Leon
The village chief f kidnaps a woman as an offering to the Minotaur god. The woman is terrified but quickly finds herself intrigued when the minotaur shifts into human form and ravishes her with pleasure.
Rating: B Great, above average.

Romancing The Book gave SWTWC V2 a "Lovely Rose" rating

Crystal at Romancing The Book Reviews gave SWTWC V2 a Lovely Rose rating! and had this to say about Asterion:

...And last is Asterion by Katalina Leon.  Larisa is expecting to be a virgin sacrifice. She gets tied up in the middle of a labrinth. There she sees a Minotaur and she thinks her life is over.  Darron is sent to Earth to find out all he can about humans. He takes on the form of a Minotaur to better do his research. When he see Larisa he starts turning into a human. Instead of Darron sacrificing Larisa he shows her pleasure. The more Larisa accepts him the more human and less beasts he becomes.
I enjoyed reading Larisa and Darrons story because they both need the other in different ways. Larisa for her village and to help them out and Darron to help him understand humans. To prove to his leaders that they can learn things from humans and they can teach him things to.
So I really enjoyed reading all six stories and they all was different in their own way. It doesn’t matter if your looking for a certain genre. When you first start reading you are truly amazed by all six journeys that you get to experience. So happy reading to everyone who decides to experience this great book for themselves.

Thank you Crystal and Romancing the Book!

Tori MacAllister said Something Wicked This Way Comes V2 is Wickedly Delicious!

Tori had something wonderful to say about all the stories in this collection, and you can read the full review here:

This is what Tori had to say about Asterion:
“Asterion” by Katalina Leon
Having lost her father and her betrothed in battle, Larisa is betrayed by the weak village chief. He rows her to a remote island where a gorgeous palace, dedicated to the Minotaur, stands and where she will be a virgin sacrifice. But rather than die at the horns of a god, Larisa finds herself used to give corporeal form to an alien being, one whose chosen form is that of a handsome man bent on pleasuring her and helping humanity.
This was one of my favorite stories! I felt the reader didn’t need the couple pages of explanation about the Minotaur prior to the story, but other than that blip, it was pitch perfect. Larisa is brave and bold and the “god” who takes such on a luscious form delights in his body and Larisa’s with such abandon that you have to smile for the thousand-plus year old virgin. I was surprised to discover that Katalina Leon has written a ton of books (she has a few listed on her Goodreads page) and none of them seem to be myth based like this story. I’ll be trying one of her books to see if she can delight me again.
(Pisst lets hope Tori tries my next book "The Strix", which will be available from Loose Id publishing July 17th! I'll post more about The Strix soon.)

Guilty Pleasures Reviews calls SWTWC V2 a True Gem!

"A True Gem!"

Shadow's Thoughts:
"This is an entertaining anthology of short stories about women who find their loves in unexpected ways. Among other oddities, we have shape shifters, aliens in ancient Greece, and vampires.

Scarred and Kilt by Laurann Dohner.
In this very hot short story, Matty comes to the rescue of her neighbor, Blaron, whom she suspects is a vampire. But once she saves him, she must leave behind her old life. Can she find happiness with a vampire?

Tinderbox by Regina Carlisle.
Olivia knows she is a jaguar shapeshifter and has to find two mates before she can successfully shift for the first time. When Nate and Daniel come to her rescue after a kidnapping, she finds it hard to believe these two hot hunks are her intended mates.

Asterion by Katalina Leon.
After being betrayed by the new chief of her village, Larisa is brought to be a sacrifice to the Minotaur-but her captor brings her to the wrong island and she becomes a captive of Asterion, a creature from another world who wants to live as an earthling, but must have a purpose to stay on earth. Can Larisa prove to be that purpose?

Decadent Dance by Aubrey Ross.
When Zoe purchases a dress from a vendor near Broadway, she has no idea it will make her a captive of Spaceship Commander Vaden, who wants her to behis Decadent Dancer.

Sahara Heat by Diane Hunter.
Carla Braun doesn’t life the feeling she’s been set up for a blind date with Dr. Josef Anderson. But her friend knew something Carla didn’t-Josef was perfect for her.

Fatman and Robyn by Jaid Black.
Jake Chamberlain and Robyn DeMarco appear to be polar opposites: he’s a famous quarterback and she’s a stay at home mouse living quietly in Little Italy with her family. But her full figure draws Jake like no woman he’s ever seen, and he learns she’s not quite what she seems-she’s a famous author.

All of the stories are hot, and the writing is exceptional for an anthology. Readers will find lots of sex in the short stories, and all are fairly complete within themselves. My favorite was Scarred and Kilt, even though I’m not into vampires. But a good writer is a good writer no matter what the venue, and Dohner fits that bill. What that vampire does with his fang…

All in all this is a highly recommended read."

You Gotta Read Reviews gave SWTWC V2, 5 Stars!

You Gotta Read gave SWTWC V2 5 Stars!

Wow! This is what Donna B, at You Gotta Read Book Reviews had to say about SWTWC V2. She gave it 5 stars, woot woot!
After reading the first installment of the Something Wicked anthologies, I had a preconceived notion about what the second collection of stories would be like…more of the same as the first. I was very pleasantly surprised to have my misconceptions blown away with six fresh, highly unique, and of course, extremely erotic offerings.  Be ready for dark, daring rescues, sensual seductions, lust at first sight and irresistible love stories. This collection definitely has something for everyone!
Scarred and Kilt by Laurann Dohner
Matty is a survivor who has become reclusive and lonely after her attack and resulting scars. Blaron has a brogue and body that are lethal to Matty’s libido. The kilt he wears is too sexy for words, and when she sees an intruder heading into his home with obviously nefarious intentions, she has no choice but to intervene. The only problem – now that Blaron has had a taste of her, he wants all of her.
I am a huge Laurann Dohner fan, and now I have yet another reason to love her work… Vampires! Her readers have fallen in love with cyborgs, aliens, new species and Indians, so why not add one of the world’s favorite mythical creatures to the mix? Laurann’s writing is always descriptive enough to make you feel like you are in the book and her characters are hot enough to make you wish you really were.

Tinderbox by Regina Carlysle
Livvy is in serious trouble. Kidnapped and left bound and gagged in a shack in the middle of who-knows-where, she is running out of time. Her inner jaguar is ready to break free, ready to mate, but she hasn’t found any jaguar males in her new town. Unfortunately, it looks like she is going to die alone, unmated and in agony. To her surprise and immense relief, two handsome, naked men come to her rescue in the nick of time.
This story is well written, intriguing, and super sexy. The sex scenes are very arousing, with two hot guys for our lovely  heroine. I’m looking forward to the hawk shifter’s story, too!

Asterion by Katalina Leon
Asterion is a very unique story that is set in the bronze ages. Thinking that she is going to be sacrificed, Larisa is surprised to realize that the knife slice on her wrist is only enough to gather a few drops of blood. And, the terrifying beast is actually a shape shifting bull. He becomes more human with every “encounter” that he has with his sacrifice, but Larisa is completely willing to give him as much as he needs of herself.
Okay, admission time. I did not like the first couple sexual encounters with Darron because he still had a tail and horns…and animal-like hairy legs. That just creeped me out, but as the story progressed, he became fully human and was quite sexy, too. Overall, a very imaginative story with vibrantly described settings and great entertainment value.

Decadent Dance by Aubrey Ross
I was really getting into this book when I hit “the end”. I was dying to see more of the border territories and meet the other “dancers”. This story is very unique and the plot is engrossing. While the grey and black hero with silver markings all over his body is quite imaginative, the other differences in his anatomy were fantasy material!
I believe this is the first book I have read by Ms. Ross, but I hope it won’t be the last. I would like to follow Zoe and Vaden’s story and perhaps discover more decadent dancers from Earth.

Sahara Heat by Diana Hunter
Sahara Heat is very erotic, the characters are captivating, and the plot is both intense and fun. What better way to meet that perfect someone than to have a meddling friend who never takes no for an answer? Ms. Hunter’s story is well written, fast-paced and sexy. I will certainly be on the lookout for more of her books!

Fatman & Robyn by Jaid Black
In a word, Fatman & Robyn is seductive! Jake is a champion quarterback who went out on top. Robyn is a renowned suspense author who just wants to enjoy life to the fullest. When Robyn overhears Jake’s friends bad-mouthing her, she realizes that their worlds are probably way too different to ever align, so she does the only reasonable thing left to do…walk away from the man who owns her heart. I loved this story – just wish it were longer because I simply did not want it to end.

Thank you Donna and You Gotta Read Book Reviews!
